Help with Google Classroom

Accessing your Classes and Assignments

Access all of your classes at https://classroom.google.com

Click To Do to view all of your assignment, from all classes, that you have to complete.

Click Join to join a class. Click on the title of any of your classes to view that class.

Accessing Class Resources

Once you have entered a classroom, you can view:

  • The title of the Class and, if the class includes live lessons, a Meet link so that you can join these lessons
  • Upcoming assignments, in the box to the left
  • The class “Stream“, showing you all a newsfeed of the most recent activity from that class. You will find the most recent activity at the top of this stream.

Click on Classwork to view all resources and assignments for the class. Open resources by clicking on them and then clicking View material or View assignment.

Click on View your work to see your assignments for this class. Google Calendar displays the deadlines for these assignments in a diary format.

When you upload a document as an assignment, Google Classroom automatically stores this in your Class Drive folder. All of your class drive folders – one for each class – are saved in the Classroom folder in your Google Drive.

Click on Meet to join a live lesson – if the class offers live lessons and one is scheduled.

Using Google Meet

Each class may offer live lessons at certain times. The teacher of each class will inform students when they have live lessons and/or invite them via email.

You can read more about using Google Meet on the Google Classroom Help pages.
