Students should wear the correct uniform as set out in the school’s guidelines while on the premises and while travelling to and from school on any official school day.
The uniform is a symbol of the school and as such should be worn with pride and kept clean and tidy.

Self Reliance
In keeping with National Policy all pupils are expected from time to time to undertake self-help activities organised by the school. Normally these activities will be done after school hours.
Dress Code
All students must comply with the dress code:
- Skirts must be worn knee length and must not be tight. No T-shirts should be worn by students during normal school activities
- Skirts and blouses must be worn inside at all times
- Shoes must be neat and clean and socks worn above the ankles. High cut sneakers must never be worn with the school uniform
- Boys pants must be worn at the waist and must be neither tight nor baggy
- Elaborate hairstyles will not be permitted. Hair ornaments, braids, extensions, wigs and hair pieces are strictly forbidden. Hair ribbons must be worn at all times
- Make-up such as the use of lipstick, lip-gloss, eye shadow and eyebrow pencil are strictly forbidden
- Jewellery including rings and earrings are not permitted
- Insertion of gold teeth/tooth is strictly forbidden
Personal Property
- Personal property should be labelled clearly with the student’s name. Should students find any key or any other property which does not belong to him/her, turn them into the office.
- During Physical Education watches and other valuables should be left at the office. Other than this the school accepts no responsibility for items of value, including money brought to the school by pupils. Any items of value should be kept on the pupil’s person and not left in the classrooms or cloakrooms
- Large sums of money must not be brought to school by pupils.
- Cell phones should not be brought to school by students
- The school will not accept the responsibility jewellery stolen or misplaced.
- A pupil’s possessions are brought at the school at the sole risk of the owner.
